Game Scope 2018 - LAN Party

Game Scope Festival is moving Denmark’s largest game festival to ACCC in 2018. The large venue will host STARCADE for the first time ever – an event that combines LAN, professional gamers, and game development in one big 3-day experience and gaming festival.

From 17-19 August, 2018, 24,000 square meters of floor space in Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre (ACCC) will be transformed into a unique three-day gaming universe that brings together world-class, mid-tier, and amateur e-sport gamers under one roof, as well as a game festival presenting the latest gaming products and technologies. The event is the initiative of a strong North Jutland partnership between Game Scope, Lan Team Nord, Sports-Gaming.dk, and DGI North Jutland.

ACCC has teamed up with the best and most experienced companies and clubs in the field, and the partnership has resulted in Denmark’s biggest and most interesting window to the gaming world ever seen. Game Scope Festival is moving Denmark’s largest game festival to ACCC this year where the latest gaming products and technologies will be presented. There will also be opportunities to meet game developers, try out their games and learn more about game development during the Game Scope conference. As a part of Game Scope Festival, Denmark’s favorite gamer, Jakob Stegelmann, and gaming editor, Troels Møller, from the Troldspejlet television series will be visiting ACCC to entertain and inform on what is happening in the gaming world.

Gaming for everyone

In the Aalborg Hall, Lan Team Nord will host a huge CS:GO LAN with room for more than 650 amateur gamers. Lan Team Nord hosted Geeks Gone Wild – one of Denmark’s biggest e-sport festivals to date – on 12-14 January, 2018, at Gigantium. They are now bringing their computers and gaming knowledge to ACCC along with Game Scope, Sports-Gaming.dk, and DGI North Jutland to create an even bigger gaming event, which combines everything from the world of e-sports. With a focus on club activities and fellowship, DGI North Jutland will attract focus to e-sports as a club sport and offer tips on how to best start up a club.
