Want to keep up with the companies in our four game incubators? Each month, we’ll highlight some of the most recent game releases. In the October edition, you can check out Animal Super Squad by DoubleMoose Games on early-access and put Unforgiving – A Northern Hymn by Angry Demon Studio on your wishlist before it’s released on November 25.
Animal Super Squad by DoubleMooseGames
Animal Super Squad is the first game to be released by newly formed DoubleMoose Games: A game studio located in The Game Incubator in Skövde and founded by Armin Ibrisagic, former game designer at Coffee Stain Studios, and Felix Kjellberg, also known as PewDiePie.
The game is an early-access, physics-based adventure game that lets you play as your favorite animal.
DoubleMoose invites player feedback to further develop the game: “Animal Super Squad is a physics-based vehicle platformer that lets players create their own levels, but also play other people’s levels. The core gameplay is defined, but we would like player feedback when it comes to the level editor and other community-based features. We are also happy to hear player feedback when it comes to future content and the direction in which the game should go.”
Unforgiving – A Northern Hymn
“All the stories being told to scare children are actually true. The Swedish folklore is real and it’s coming for you! Unforgiving – A Northern Hymn is a first person horror game is heavily inspired by Swedish folklore and the Nordic mythology to create the nightmares that’s been haunting Swedish children,” it reads on the game’s Steam page.
While Unforgiving – A Northern Hymn is not available to download before November 25, you can still get acquainted with the Swedish horror game on Steam and also on YouTube where it’s been picked up by Let’s Play users like Markiplier and 8-BitRyan.
The game started as a university project by bachelor students at the University of Skövde and has further been developed after graduation at The Game Incubator in Skövde under the company name Angry Demon Studio.
